Refund Policy – LumberJake LLC

At LumberJake LLC, we value honesty, safety, and customer satisfaction. Because tree removal and stump grinding are labor- and equipment-intensive services, we have the following refund policy:

1. Deposits
  • Deposits are non-refundable once a job has been scheduled, as time and equipment are reserved specifically for your project.

  • If work must be rescheduled due to weather, unsafe conditions, or utility clearance delays, the deposit will be applied to the rescheduled date.

2. Cancellations
  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled service may receive a refund of any prepaid amount, minus the deposit.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled service will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

3. Service Issues
  • If you are dissatisfied with the work performed, please notify us within 48 hours of service completion.

  • We will make reasonable efforts to address concerns (such as additional cleanup or corrections).

  • Refunds will only be issued if LumberJake LLC is unable to remedy the issue.

4. Non-Refundable Items
  • Stump grinding debris (wood chips/soil mix) left onsite is not considered grounds for refund unless haul-away was contracted.

  • Refunds will not be provided for dissatisfaction due to pre-existing property conditions, hidden underground systems, or services outside the agreed scope.

5. Force Majeure

No refunds will be issued for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control (including severe weather, natural disasters, or utility clearance delays).
